Preparatory lesson

Introduction to the Parampara (the chain of discipleship succession), which includes the Jyotish Academy, its prominent founder, astrologer C.N. Rao and his famous student Mark Boney, who in turn is the Jyotish Guru of Sergey Alexandrovich Shleenkov.

Lesson 1.

Lesson 4.

An introduction to Varnas, the cornerstone of understanding person’s nature and their true underlying motives. The lesson gives a technique on how to identify the dominant and secondary Varnas, their specific qualities and inclinations. How to follow the right path in search of one’s destiny. Lesson 5

Signs and Gunas: the fundamental energies of the material world. How to see person’s qualities in the horoscope.

We learn to determine the propensity for a particular Guna in the birth chart, to understand which personal qualities can be changed quickly and easily, and which will require a long work. The lesson invites you to make a conscious personal choice in favor of the Guna of goodness, describing the qualities, motives, and fruits of all Gunas. The lesson describes the opportunities for this in the “Jyotish Academy” project.

Lesson 9

Friendly, neutral and hostile relationships.

For students who have mastered the topic previously, we suggest going back to the previous in-depth lesson and doing a practical breakdown of several charts, connecting them to this topic.

Lesson 10

Natural pests (malefics) and benefactors (benefics). The waning and waxing Moon. Major and special aspects, their significance and manifestation in the chart. Two kinds of connection.

The lesson gives an opportunity to broaden understanding of the topic of aspects. Analysis of special aspects of Mars, Jupiter and Saturn and their different meanings in terms of Jyotish psychology.

You will learn how to connect Avasthas and Atmakaraka to understand the latent motives, problems and desires of the individual. AK located in Bala Avastha and Mrityu Avastha. What is the difference? The lesson will present a unique way to calculate the strength of a planet based on all the studied factors in the horoscope. The calculation will allow you to understand which planet is the strongest and weakest in the horoscope, which in turn will give an understanding through which qualities successes and failures will come to a person. You will learn how to assemble the pieces of the puzzle into a complete picture.

Lesson 17

Ascendant or Lagna – the basis of person’s character.

This lesson revisits the subject of character analysis by means of the signs, from which we have digressed by shifting our attention to the power of the planets. Now that you know how to determine the strength of a planet, you will be able to look at some of the borderline values differently. It will become clearer why one of the two seemingly equal values is still dominant. You will see how compatibility works on the examples of relationships and receive a very powerful, rare mantra for harmonizing relationships. You will be offered a deepening of the algorithm by introducing a new value – Lagna (ascendant), which will become a very important element of the analysis.

Lesson 18

Planets in the ascendant give their qualities (Gunas) to the personality. Deepening the technique of Varnas (motives and goals) and Gunas (qualities). Shubbha and Papa Kartari Yoga.

This lesson will give insight into how the planets that enter or aspect Lagna bestow their qualities (Gunas) on the personality. New insights into the subject of Varnas and Gunas. A special combination: favorable and unfavorable environment.
